We've all experienced hard times or have been down on our luck at some point in our lives.
I had a revelation tonight. What if we could give the homeless and disenfranchised an opportunity to share their lives publicly with their permission? They would share their struggles, aspirations, or dreams.
This project would only require 1-2 hours a week of your time, preferably on the weekends. We would meet up at a central point in downtown-Cleveland and spend about an hour looking for and filming potential candidates. I would also like to buy them lunch or give them a small donation as a token of my appreciation. The remaining time would involve a debrief/conclusion of the day's event with the cameraman.
I'm asking anyone with video camera equipment to help me in such a cause. It would be a 2-3 month project. I'm also open to any ideas on how this social experiment can evolve or reach a larger audience.
