Full-time professors in Center City Philadelphia seek to hire a full-time nanny to care for a baby due beginning of November. This position is long term and requires at least a year commitment (though the family would love multiple years). Mom returns to work from maternity leave in February 2018 and would like the nanny to start in January while she is home.
Duties:
- Full childcare
- Scheduling and arranging child friendly activities
- Tidy child and common areas
- Run/empty dishwasher
- Cleaning bottles
- Laundry for the baby
- Meals for the baby
- Grocery shop
- Run errands as needed
Who You Are:
- Extensive infant and toddler experience
- Can engage child with stimulating activities without TV or electronics
- Has lots of love and support to give a new family
- Willing to take public transportation
- Willing to travel on vacation as needed, though OK if you can t!
Compensation:
- $16-$20 per hour gross (BEFORE TAXES)
- 2 weeks paid vacation (one week nanny s choice-with advance notice, one week coordinated with family s plans)
- 5 paid sick personal days
- major holidays paid
- stipend given towards health benefits
Requirements:
- Able to commit at least one year to the job
- Have verifiable childcare experience with checkable references
- Able to provide proof of legal work status in the US
- Willing to get First Aid and CPR trained within 6 weeks of employment, if not already.
