I am a commissioned artist who has been doing portraits for the past several years in a wide range of subjects from icons, historical figures, loved ones and family, pets and nudes. The medium I work with is exclusively charcoal both black and white. My work is large (22" x 30") but can and do work in smaller sizes. I have a strict attention to detail and no job is rushed or hurried. This wont be one of those mall kiosk jobs that you get in under a half hour. Some of my work has taken over a month. My clients are kept close to my projects. So needless to say a lot of what I have done has been very emotional and close to the hearts of my clients. I work from photo's supplied by the client preferably 8 x 10 either color or black and white with at least clear detail to achieve maximum emotion. You can view my past work here:
