My house has an opening Jan 1st and Feb 1st! Inner SE off Salmon St.
Rent is $422.50, month to month lease, first/last/$200 deposit on move in.
About us:
We are a house of 6 people looking for a new roommate (will make 7)! We are a fun-loving bunch of young professionals whose interests include social justice, creating music, summertime floating and bike rides, and communal gardening (we have several gardening beds, and would be happy to have others join in).
About you:
We are BLGQT+ friendly. Ideally, we are looking for someone with intentions of sticking around for the long-haul. The room is one of two rooms upstairs, that share an nook great for sipping tea or reading. I live in one of the upstairs rooms and most likely moving out Feb to live with my partner. A few requests: no cigarette smokers, no hard drugs (but 420 friendly), no pets, and no drama.
About the room (and house):
Technically, our house is divided into 3 living spaces (two apartments downstairs, and one upstairs), and you would be part of the upstairs household of 4 people (we share a kitchen and bathroom). As mentioned, the potential roommate would occupy one of two rooms in the top-most (3rd) floor. The room is smaller, but can comfortably fit a queen-size bed and a modest amount of furniture. The room also has a fantastic view of the sunsets/downtown Portland, and a generously-sized walk-in closet. The house, itself, has a decently sized basement which can store a *minimal* amount of household goods. There is also a garage for bikes. :)
The room will be ready by December 29th, but could be out sooner if that's helpful.
Housemates split utilities, and these tend to run as low as $9 in summer and as about $20-$50/mo in winter.
