My great housemate (who incidentally I met last yr thru Craigslist )is
leaving the end of December .I will have the newly finished 2 bedroom,1.5 bath 1100 sf 2nd floor Master suite avail for month by month tenet at will, no lease necessary,on 1/1/17.
IT IS $800/MO( for one person),includes FAIRPOINT internet,
Dish satellite,driveway parking,typical amenities like Dishwasher,1st floor laundry,
1st floor fireplace,etc.
This is a relaxed,low stress,professional household,very safe,
with the entire second floor and use of common areas on 1st floor included in lease.
I am often called out all night on night shift and therefore would like a second occupant in my home.The house was built in 2010/11,just finished completely late 2014;landscaping still a work in progress.It is perhaps best suitable for one person using 2nd bedrm as an office or?..my current housemate uses the huge bedroom with cathedral ceiling as her private living room,,,.it is very private(I see my current housemate about x3/wk unless she cooks a lot)as stairs to the 2nd floor are to the immediate right as you walk in the main entrance;its currently set up with the huge 2nd bedroom(18' x 22')as a private second living room.I have a med. sized refridgerator and microwave in this 2nd floor,"living room",pls see ARCHED

Large walk in closets, a huge 12x16 1.5 bath, complete with a
Jacuzzi whirlpool and a 4ft shower w/seat.I designed the bathroom large enough to make into a ,"spa", type bath to incorporate exercise equipment(treadmill, eliptical machine,etc).Mediterraenean terracotta tiles grace the floor of this bath, just off the huge master bedrm(or "2nd living room").The smaller bedroom (robins egg Blue in video)is 17' x 12',,Video was taken November 2015.
The 2nd floor lease includes full use of the galley type kitchen on 1st floor,with a true convection oven, surrounded by granite and cherry cabinets.I am often a crockpot cook when I do cook.The dining rm is off the kitchen,the first floor Living room,dining room,kitchen is open concept.The lessee has use of common areas of 1st floor:kitchen, dining rm,laundry,the latter which is in the downstairs bath....
I may also put a CONVECTION MICROWAVE on 2nd floor as its wired for it.It already comes with a regular microwave.
The house setting is private and amazingly quiet, flanked by woods on 3 sides, abutting a lg Conservation property:a 45 ac woodlot which I have the use of and lessee may walk,jog,etc through.Lake access is nearby:public access boat launch for residents only is within walking distance,and another 120+acre Conservation
area,in Falmouth and Westbrook ("Suckfish Brook"),within 5 minutes walking,with hiking trails we have the use of.
There is also a spectacular Falmouth Town Landing on the Ocean where I (or housemate) may use the boat ramp to put a Boat into the Ocean at Falmouth Foreside.
The house is 4 mi from I295 & I95,exit 48 Portland,and 20-25 mins from UNE Portland campus.
My realtor friend calls this property, a" Country Estate", as it is in essence a 5 acre new Cape with all the perks, radient heat, granite, cherry cabinets, with a modest stable, horses on premises nearby(100 ft from house). I may be able to offer basic riding lessons,for a nominal fee or ?PLS be aware this is a FARM complete with horses stabled in Barn in Winter (which is off limits unless prior arrangements are made with me)and 2-3 horses here yr around. I may be able to offerva 1/2 lease on a riding horse for a reasonable additional monthly fee depending on what your experience is and/ or what I have available for riding horses.
Re myself, I am a mature, nonsmoking, female medical professional(REGISTERED NURSE).I hold a professional license and can be easily looked up online.I am very much into Alternative health,and different Medical Models,from (Traditional Chinese Medicine is my Favorite),but have friends who arent. I am not your typical Mainer;I lived for almost 10yrs in downtown Boston in the midst of several international communities,had friends from all over the World, however,I'm living my preferred simple Country lifestyle here.I currently occupy the 1st floor only of this lg (3300 sq ft total)4 bedrm house.I am often involved in horse related activities in my spare time.
All heat, hot water, snow removal,electric(pls see nxt sentence re electric)is included.The 1st $75. of electric is included, after $75., elec is split 2 ways,my last housemate hasn't had to pay any extra on electricity.Heat is radient(floors heat up)downstairs and baseboard forced hot water upstairs.A new efficient propane

I have a lg fenced in yd /with a 5' fence, a cat (or dog )is ok,may be included in month by month tenet at will agreement(a Refundable pet security deposit may be necessary depending on your pet, paid 2 installments if necessary ).I have my old Rottie whos well behaved, and a rescue dog that's crated whom I'm retraining on the 1st floor only,they often sleep in my room or one in a crate when I'm gone nights..
my dogs are restricted to the first floor ,and are not allowed in these areas:
the Kitchen,downstairs bath and upstairs/2nd floor are all off limit to the dogs.
