830 Seeking clean amp quiet roommate for beautiful NW Apartment (NW Portland) hide this posting unhide
QR Code Link to This Post I'm a 31 year old female looking for a great fit to share my gorgeous & serene 2 bedroom apartment starting in January 2018.
I have lived in the apartment for a decade and there is so much to love about it: skylights, fireplace, high ceiling, wool carpets, big windows that let in lots of natural light, large bathroom and kitchen, dishwasher, lights on dimmers (yes please, right?), and built in storage. There is laundry on-site and the location is AMAZING. There is a grocery store, coffee shop, french bakery, post office, and several restaurants all within one block! Forest park trails are just up the road and our neighborhood park is just 2 block away. The apartment is VERY quiet, especially for being so close and accessible to all the neighborhood has to offer.
Important roommate qualities:
*I'm seeking someone who is exceptionally clean. It doesn't matter what your bedroom looks like (so long as it doesn't smell) but common spaces need to be stay clean and tidy. Willingness to share in cleaning duties is a must!
*I'm seeking someone who is generally pretty quiet when they are home. This space is amazing for rejuvenating and relaxing (which we all need in life) and with so much hustle and bustle in the world, it's great to have a calm and quiet living space to come home to.
*I am super sensitive to scents and chemicals. All the cleaning products I use are natural with minimal scent and the same goes for my personal body care. If you wear perfume or use scented laundry detergent, dryer sheets, scented candles or incense, this will not be a good fit. I'm hoping to find someone who appreciates having a neutral smelling home and who already practices green living in their cleaning products and body care.
*Ideal for a student or working professional
The room is about 11 X 16 and has a very large window and multiple storage options. It can come furnished with a bed, large full size mirror, and a cedar chest of drawers. If you have your own furniture that is totally ok too.
The rent is $830 plus $130 in utilities
UTILITIES include: water, gas, electric, sewer, trash, high-speed internet
There is a one-time $200 cleaning fee.
The lease can be month-to-month or a year lease.
The landlord is an architect and built the apartment and is easy going.
No pets allowed. Sorry!
