QR Code Link to This Post Looking for experienced carpenter with a minimum of 5+ years experience to help with completing remodeling project in Hudson, Ohio.
You must possess a strong skill set in trim carpentry and light structural (rough) carpentry, have your own vehicle (van or truck) and be able to supply your own (hand & power tools) necessary for completing all carpentry needs.
Tasks to be completed throughout this project include but are not limited to installing cabinetry, casing, trim including crown molding, hardwood flooring, demolition and construction of new walls, sofits, entryways, stairways & railings (rough & finish installations), insulation, windows & doors and some custom woodworking tasks not limited to but including custom molding, fireplace mantel detail, and wainscoting. - Pride in work and attention to detail is a must.
You should be able to work under the direction of a person in charge (owner) when required as well as posses the ability to work alone and make decisions geared towards quality of work and project initiatives.
Knowledge of basic local code requirements for structural installations is a plus (i.e. headers, ceiling truss installations, etc.). Additional skills in tile installation, painting & paint prep, other general carpentry and drywall a plus, but not required.
Pay is based on hourly rate to be negotiable based on your skill set and proven experience.
