We are a local band with about an hour or so of music written and ready to play. Our former lineup consisted of the classic power trio setup, but our bass player was obliged to step down in the interests of health. So we are seeking a bassist and are also interested in bringing in a rhythm guitarist. Vocals on either are preferred but not essential.
All of the music is original, and we have every intention of growing the band and becoming successful with it as time passes. We are passionate about the music and are looking to create something unique; to that end, we have been describing the sound as rock with folk overtones.

And that part we can't stress enough: please be prepared. We are happy to help walk you through anything you may be questionable on, but please have an understanding of the songs before you get there!
We understand that everyone has responsibilities outside of the music; we do as well, and we are fortunate that they are daytime jobs that still allow us to dedicate serious time to the band. We typically practice twice a week, generally in the evening hours. We ask that if you do audition, please be aware of the schedule and be available for it. We don't mind working with people's schedules and are open to shifting rehearsals as needed, but if you have a schedule that cannot work with the band's, then it will be hard for us to seriously consider you.
A positive attitude is essential too. We believe that collaboration is king and that everyone can contribute. We are pretty laid back, generally speaking, but when we write we do so with purpose and intent. Mostly, we just want to make the songs as great as they can be! So suggestions are always welcome during the writing process.
