Smoking Behaviors of GED Recipients:
An Equivalent Degree with an Unequal Burden

You are eligible to participate if you:
• Have a GED (General Educational Development Diploma) or high school equivalency degree
• Are between ages 18 to 25 years old
• Currently smoke at least 5 cigarettes per day
• Have not completed more than 3 courses at a traditional college or university
What will you be asked to do?
• You will likely be in the study for one hour or less. No follow-up is needed.
• You will be asked to complete a questionnaire and interview.
You will receive a gift card to compensate you for your time.
