After retiring from Intel after 17 years, I am helping people choose the right equipment for their home. I do NOT install anything... I offer unbiased recommendations on different levels of equipment for your home, as well as suggesting the best places to buy it.

I have deep knowledge and can provide recommendations in the following areas:

- Whole House Audio (In wall, Sonos, Wireless, etc...)
- Security Cameras, using low cost (but high quality) cameras that you can manage easily and view from your phone or PC.
- Best types of PCs, Desktops, Notebooks, and Tablets, as well as the best places to buy them.
- Theater Rooms & Multi-Media Room. Can be high end projection based or LCD TVs. High end speakers and amplifiers or moderately priced options.
- HVAC control for heating and cooling (Nest, Honeywell, etc....)
- Whole house wireless and wired networking. Routers, Repeaters, Access Points, etc...
- TV and movie distribution within the home.

My business model is very simple. I work by the hour and will provide you a detailed report of what I would recommend you buy for your project, as well as the best (and reliable) places to buy it. If requested, I will also include options to purchase used equipment from eBay or Craigslist. Attached is an example report.

Large installers are happy to do this for you for "free", but you never know if they are suggesting the best thing for your needs or just the equipment they can get high margins from.
