TheTanzieproject.org is a rescue in Virginia that brings dogs from a rescue in Bosnia. The village in Bosnia is shutting down the rescue because of neighbors complaints. Nina, the person that runs the rescue has about 17 days left to find homes for her dogs or the authorities will take them and kill them and not in a humane way. I won't go into the horrible details of how that is accomplished. Please research them and donate anything that you can afford. The money goes straight to the dogs for feeding, transport to other rescues outside of Bosnia, vet bills. Tanzie, the namesake of the rescue in Virgina, has her story on the above website.
