We have one immediate opening for a route driver. We are looking for someone with drive and desire to work independently, briskly and efficiently. If you join our team, you will have an immediate impact on the landfill and help support local charities.
We are looking for someone to start immediately for 10 hours a week.
This is a part time position, and for the right person could become a 20 hour a week position during peak season starting in March. A flexible schedule is a huge plus.( A.M, PM, Weekend,Short Notice) leading to additional hours.Typical shift includes driving routes, servicing bins, delivering product, upkeep of the yard and trucks with minor reporting required each work day. Shift times start as early as 5:00am.
Requirements:
Must have clean background check
Must be a minimum of 24 years old with a clean driving record
Effective communication/comprehension skills -verbal and written
Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, crawl, and lift materials up to 50 lbs briskly for entire shift
Ability to drive 16'-20' box truck
Proven Math Skills - Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Proven ability to work independently
Must be able to work safely in all types of outdoor weather conditions
Flexible schedule is a HUGE plus
Positive self motivating attitude is mandatory
Efficiently use tablet, GPS, and Smartphone using multiple apps
Be able to problem solve on the fly
