This is a unique opportunity in Hawaii's #1 industry to have a key role in a startup that is expanding and is focused on improving trip planning in Hawaii and beyond. Â
We're looking for a bright & self-motivated person for a project of setting up and running our social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).Â
You would be the lead for creating our social media accounts and managing them, including with regular postings and using various tactics to grow our followers and maximize impact.Â
Initially this would likely be a part-time project, but it could lead to a more permanent position and possibly include other online and offline marketing projects. Â
Other needs we have, either for a separate person or for the social media intern to take on in the future, include customer sales, customer service, and business development (i.e. signing up and working with activity providers, and vetting/experiencing/writing up tours & activities). Â
Please email describing any relevant experience (with social media or the travel industry) and what your level of interest and commitment might be with TravelShack longer term. Any social media accounts (personal or professional) you have contributed to that we can view would be helpful (but not necessary).
Although we are based in Hawaii, we do not yet have a central office, so you would be working independently whenever and wherever you'd prefer.
