I can help!
I am an alum of the Berklee College of Music in Boston and
GIT/Musician's Institute in Los Angeles with over twenty years of
guitar playing experience and over ten years of teaching experience.
I have instructed students of all ages and all levels of experience.
Electric and/or acoustic.
I am a very patient, understanding teacher. Great with beginners.
Guitarists in a rut, frustrated guitarists, and those playing many
years with minimal improvement also a specialty. Late bloomers
welcome too!
I am skilled at many styles, but especially the many facets of
rock/blues/pop and jazz. I offer fun, thoughtful, expert instruction
to students of all levels: everything from simple rock, blues, or
folk songs and licks to more advanced areas, including jazz
improvisation and soloing over chord changes, scale and chord theory,
transcription, ear training, and composition.
Most importantly, I teach according to your needs and goals as a
musician. I don't force a program or curriculum -- I will help you
become the guitarist YOU want to be. Each week we will expand your
technique and knowledge while honing in on the sound and style you
want.

I now have openings in my schedule and am offering a new student
special: the first two lessons for $30- that's half a month of
lessons for only $30 a week. Lessons would be once a week, an hour
long. After the initial two, they would go up to $40- still a great,
affordable rate. I also offer a special discounted monthly rate.
I have a flexible schedule and can travel to your location, if necessary.
