Full-time working parents in Wayne seeking Family Assistant for 3 girls; a 7-year-old and 5-year-old twins. Job starts when the family finds the right candidate.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, Nanny s choice!
- 11:30am-6:30 p.m. OR
- Split day 7:00am-9:00 a.m. and 11:30am-6:30 p.m. OR
- 11:30am-6:30 p.m. with 1 or more mornings per week
- Flexibility to work full day is needed if kids are home from school for additional pay
Duties include:
- Driving children to/from school and activities (family car available or reimbursed for gas for job duties if Family Assistant prefers own car)
- Tidy common/children areas,
- Make the kids beds
- Run vacuum
- Family laundry
- Grocery shop or receive delivered groceries
- Run/empty the dishwasher
- Cook meals for the children and for parents if interested
- Help with homework and pet care.
Who You Are:
- One who LOVES running a home
- A self-starter and considered a hard-working professional
- Excellent communication skills who can take on requests specific to the family's needs
- The ability to drive in snow or flexibility to stay overnight if a storm is pending, is a must have for this family
- Must be pet friendly! The family has two friendly, 25lb, non-shedding dogs
Requirements:
- Must be able to commit at least one year to the job
- Must be able to provide proof of legal work status in the US
- Must be willing to get First Aid and CPR trained within 6 weeks of employment, if not already.
Compensation:
- $17-$20 per hour GROSS, BEFORE TAXES, (based on background and experience)
- 2 weeks paid vacation, (one week your choice, one week coordinated with the family s plans)
- 3 paid sick/personal days and major holidays paid.
