I'm looking for someone to make me a sanded piece of wood apx 4' x 2' or so. I want to make an activity board for my son (9 months old) and don't want to buy an unfinished piece of wood at Home Depot and have to sand it myself. If you can stain it a light wood color too that would be even better. I think birch plywood or pine would be fine. I'd love the edges and corners to be a little rounded so my son doesn't poke his eye out.
I'm hoping to find someone who does woodworking in their home and has wood scraps laying around. Someone with a belt sander and some wood could probably do this in a few minutes.
I'd think this is worth about $25. I can come pick it up if you're anywhere within about 10 minutes of me.
