Family in Newtown Square seek to hire an additional long term, live in Elderly Companion/Care Provider for their mother. The family currently has two PNN caregivers: one who works full-time during the week and one who works every other weekend. This job is long term and can start as soon as they find the right candidate.
Schedule:
- Friday 6 p.m. through Monday morning 8 a.m.
- Opposite weekends of their current caregiver
Duties:
- Assisting, helping, monitoring
- Ensure medications are taken
- Driving to various activities and appointments
- Meal preparation
- Light laundry
- Assisting in waking up and bedtime preparation
- Bathing and general hygiene
Who You Are:
- Can work together as a team with other household employees,
- Be present but not intrusive and is unobtrusive
- Ability to perform the job without making the elderly woman feel inadequate
- Flexible
- A self-starter
- Discreet
- Able to communicate clearly and work in a household in a positive manner.
Requirements:
- Able to commit at least one year to the job
- Have verifiable caregiver experience with checkable references
- Able to provide proof of legal work status in the US
- Willing to get First Aid and CPR trained within 6 weeks of employment, if not already.
Compensation:
- $700 per weekend gross, (BEFORE TAXES)
