You are looking at a real cream puff of an automobile from the past. This is not a show car, but most would say it is a highly restored daily driver.
This was a "ground up" restoration with the following accomplished/finished around 2004. There's no way to document whether the 283 cubic inch V8 is original to the car, but it certainly looks correct, with the two-speed power glide transmission attached to this small block V-8. Chevy Orange engine paint has a few miles on it and it isn't detailed for show, but the major components are unaltered from stock, giving it a very authentic look and feel. An alternator replaces the old generator making plenty of electricity, and ram's horn cast iron exhaust manifolds dump into a throaty dual exhaust system with glass pack-style mufflers. New shocks ensure a smooth ride on the highway, so it rides beautifully. Standard steel wheels with like new tires and correct 1964 "SS" trim wheel covers come with the car.
