QR Code Link to This Post Very rare all original as far as I can see 1968 Schwinn Collegiate men's 5 speed bicycle.The Serial Number is HB79640. Beautiful Copper color. I would say it has around 90% original paint,some cable ware and scratches.Overall nice paint.No dents in frame.Fender in the rear has three little dents and the bottom inch or so of the front fender has a very small amount of dents or road rash.All brakes work as should and cables move as should.I tried shifting the gears but could only get it into two gears so it will need adjustment.The pedals all spin and rotate as should.Some paint wear on original spring seat,the white is faded.Now most of the chrome has some very light surface rust.Most will clean right up with polish and good old fashion elbow grease.Rims are fairly true and has original tires and tubes.I just got this out of a Garage Attic where it was in long term storage covered up with a big old blanket.I just gave it a quick soap and water wash and aired up the tires and took her for a ride.Still holding air after 3 days.Still has a small amount of old grease and dirt for you to detail and polish.Good thing for grease,cuts down on rust.Make Offer,This is a True Survivor that can be ridden daily with very little work.A real Head Turner Just in time for Christmas!!
