I am trying to find the right home for my 2 Adult female dogs due to my recent relocation. One is a 7 year old Husky mix and the other is a 5 yr old black lab mix. Bailey, the Husky, was a rescue pup from the Lexington shelter and Lacey, the Lab mix, my son found on the road as a pup. Both are very good tempered females who were spayed as pups. They have been together since Lacey was a pup and I do not want to separate them as they are inseparable now. If you take one, you'll have to take both. You will also have to live in the country with room to roam. They grew up having 7 acres to roam and now they are living in my neighborhood backyard. On top of that my job now requires travel. It's just breaking my heart to see them unable to run free as they used to. Lacey is very obedient to voice commands but Bailey is a "free spirit" and requires a little more patience as she comes back to the kennel when she's ready to. But, she is a very good watch dog and her bark will scare off anyone. I have not had them vet maintained nor given them any shots since they were pups, but will pay for 1 initial vet visit for each dog for the right owner. I will also throw in their 2 doghouses and all bowls, leashes, etc. I will also deliver the dog houses. Bailey was my daughter's dog and Lacey my sons and now they've left the nest. Both my girls are very loving, gentle spirits, and have NEVER bitten anyone and would be great with kids. I'm not just going to give them to anyone, so if you have a small yard please don't call. They have that now, but I at least walk them twice a day..
