2002 PT Cruiser. This belongs to a friend. It has not been driven in a few years. I brought it home to check it out and I am quite sure it has a head gasket blown or a cracked head. It runs and drives, but gets hot and spews water out of the radiator. OK when idling, but not when revved up. It seems to run OK other than that. Check engine lights and others on in the dash, but most likely related to the coolant problem. Transmission seems to work good. Black with power sun roof, windows, seats. Decent leather interior, dash in decent shape. Body has a few scratches and dings, but overall looks pretty good. Tires are poor, battery is gone. Could be a nice driver if you are handy at removing heads. Would consider trades for older Ford pickup (65-96). Also trade for 46-66 parts or project cars of similar value. I have access to an older (cheap) Dodge Dakota 2 wheel drive, 318 4 barrel and automatic transmission. I thought about dropping this PT body on that frame, but that is more work than I have ambition for. That would make a cool PT. Phone calls preferred. No scams. Located near.
