2005 Cherokee Forest River bumper 27 foot camper Very nice

7500 USD

For Sale: 2005 Cherokee by Forest River 27G (27 foot) bumper pull camper. Title weight is 5,300 lbs. We bought this 3 years ago. It still had the plastic on all the carpets when we got it. I don't think it had hardly ever been used before we bought it. Price on it then was over $10,000. Extremely nice inside. We have only used it 5 or 6 times, but have bought a motor home, so now we need to sell this. We did put 4 new tires on it,,probably less than 300 miles on them. New deep cycle battery last summer. Complete equalizer hitch with stabilizer included. We replaced the queen size camper mattress with a nice pillow top,,super upgrade. This camper has the cabinet upgrade also and it is really nice inside. Central ducted air conditioning, Full surround sound, with speakers in the bed room also. Bedroom ceiling fan. It has a roof TV antenna and has cable jacks in living and bedroom areas. It has a nice bathroom with a big shower. There are doors on both sides of the bathroom, accessible from the living area and the bedroom. The bed room also has an exterior door. There are a couple small issues with it. The linoleum in the kitchen split open (common problem). We stapled it down and put a rug over it. Hid most of it and it looks OK, but that should be replaced. We were going to do that, but thought we would adjust the price and let the new owners replace it with something they prefer. Also...the canopy top cover came loose in the wind and peeled off last fall. The under liner is still there and shades the front area nice, but it doesn't look so good. Those are not real expensive to replace and again,,we have adjusted the price to reflect that need. The awning folds out, extends and retracts just fine, but needs to have the material replaced. No hail damage or any major problems. We did blow a tire out on it and it did some damage under the wheel well and floor area. NO exterior damage. I seen the tire blow and stopped immediately. We had full insurance on it and took it to a camper dealer and had it totally (correctly) repaired. The tires looked great at the time, but after blowing the one, that is when we replaced all 4. Spare tire (one of the originals) included. Look close. This is a very nice camper with many years of use left. We might consider a Jeep (one with removable top/similar) for a partial trade in on this camper. The sweet 2013 Ford F150 in the pictures is for sale also, much below book price. 13,000 miles, perfect shape. Phone calls preferred. No.
