24 Y.O. Guitarist and Songwriter (Click for Awesomeness) (Cincinnati)

I'm a 24 year old guitarist, and songwriter searching for what I guess you could call my soulmate-bandmates, haha. I've been posting on here for a while now but still haven't found the right guys yet, so I'm gonna give it another go and perhaps explain more about myself and what I'm looking for if anyone dares to read all of this. I've been playing guitar for over 11 years, "singing" for about 2 years now, and am always writing new songs and producing new song ideas. I've logged over a hundred live shows, have hours and hours of studio experience, and have played in a band previously for 4 years. I'm originally from the Boston area and moved to Cincinnati last year for fun. I'm extremely professional and experienced in business and marketing with a web development and design background. Although not directly relevant to this ad, it's something that could really benefit our group. I'm not one of those guys that's all about "going on tour" and just jumping out there. I thoroughly believe an intense amount of planning and online marketing along with developing a local following/cult is far more important at first. Since part of this is also being a performer, I do my best to put on an entertaining performance on-stage and dress my part as we all should. I believe the best bands are the ones with a concept or storyline behind them and not just a bunch of dudes jamming together for fun, though I don't see anything wrong with that of course. I'm currently self-employed and am free practically any time of any day which is pretty convenient. I'm really just looking for some cool guys that I can click with musically and on a personality level as well. I would personally prefer individual musicians to contact me so we could start something with completely open creative thoughts to lay on the table and build songs together with all of our ideas. I don't care if you drink, smoke, or do drugs. Just be awesome, fun, and dedicate yourself to our project. I have some good connections here and there that can push us further too. Being a musician is tough because gaining notability takes time, but I firmly believe anything can be achieved if you push hard and dedicate yourself to it.
Influences/Playing Style
I like catchy, dancey, creepy badass music. Rock with an edge. Bands I enjoy include: Bloc Party, Taking Back Sunday, Let's Get It, Panic At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, Two Door Cinema Club, Vampires Everywhere!, HIM, Phoenix, Rammstein, Flo Rida, The Medic Droid, Passion Pit, LMFAO, The Early November, Lamb of God, deadmau5, Get Scared, Muse, Anberlin, A Day To Remember, Brand New, The Fray, Forever The Sickest Kids, Gorillaz, LIGHTS, Kings Of Leon, The Used, The Venetia Fair, Psyborg Corp., Skold, Slipknot, and so, so many more. I have a vast amount of influences but it does not mean I sound like them. I like original songs, crazy catchy riffs, and a balanced mix between rock and electronic music. Even if you don't like some of the bands I've listed, I encourage you to reach out to me. Music is music and to each their own. It's about taking both of our writing styles and combining them to a new great one, not finding an exact match and runnin' with it.
