Adopt a grandparent for Christmas program (Goffstown Manchester area)
It's that time of year when we want to do something to help make the holidays special for people in our community.
Each year Mary Kay launches their annual adopt a grandparent program. As a Mary Kay consultant in the Goffstown/Manchester area I am bringing the program to our local nursing home residents this holiday season. I'm asking local businesses and individuals to help me make this happen. Each $12 donation will provide one resident with a special gift set that includes a fragrance free hand cream and fuzzy slipper socks with a card indicating that it is from you or your business ( some have chosen to remain anonymous and the card will read :from: Santa). You will receive a receipt for tax purposes ( yes! it is tax deductible! And the cost only covers the products and wrapping, I'm doing this as my way to give back ) The gifts will be wrapped and delivered in time for Christmas. Many nursing home residents are alone and forgotten during the holidays, this could be the only gift they receive! For the price of a few cups of coffee, you could make a difference!
