Hello, my name is Myles I am a film student at Hunter College where this summer I am helping produce a friend of mine's (J.P. Pacca's) senior thesis film, UNFINISHED and we need to locate an experienced audio mixer/recordist tech with a team player attitude. This is an amazing opportunity to work with award-winning students on their way up! OH, and it shoots on a sailboat, so how bout that for a great location to call your office? Note: The crew is coming from NYC, so housing and transportation is a big cost for us. That is why we are looking for a local person. Logistically, coming from NYC to Shelter Island for an early shoot is a challenge to say the least. So either you are local to shelter island or you will join the crew in the shoot house, where we have a french chef on staff and a beautiful large house. You will not have your own room.

WHAT:
Short Indie film seeks a Production Audio Mixer for a 17 minute piece shot in multiple locations in the Long Island Area. We are a team of organized, award-winning student filmmakers that are dedicated to telling relevant, passionate stories that resonate with our audience. The majority of our crew will work for no pay, however in realizing how valuable the audio department is, we have budgeted a respectable day-rate to compensate the person. $80.00 per day.

- 17 minute drama dealing with themes of bad decisions, second chances and our own mortality
WHERE:
East Hampton for a week-long shoot, meals transportation reimbursement, and respectable day rate for a student film.
