Male - not sure if he was DNA sexed but was told male.
Hand-shy and gets startled with quick motions - he is a biter, I won't sugar coat that but he has improved vastly while in my care. He allows neck/head scritches, he's learned a trick to place his foot in our hands for treats too.
Loves music and to dance.
Mimics voices really well but doesn't speak often.
Constantly whistling, meowing, cat-calling, howling, etc.
He does have a low grade heart murmur, blood work this year was all great though! Healthy appetite, very food motivated!
Arthritis, he has multiple perches in his cage to reduce inflammation.
He has a spot on his chest where he has been plucking lately (not large, not injuring himself/bleeding or anything like that) as my schedule has changed so I'd really like to find him a new home before that gets worse.
It pains me to let him go but I don't have another choice due to personal issues.
He would definitely make a great companion for someone who is home a lot and can give him the attention/care he needs. (I would not trust him around small children.)
There will be a rehoming fee ($600 OBO) as these birds are quite expensive as well as their care and an adoption "contract" of sorts. Open to offers. Comes with cage.
