I am a Knit Student in search of a Computer/software/Tec person that wants to get creative! I have an old knitting machine that can create computer patterns from a drive that's already installed. There is a way to create new patterns but currently it wants to connect to Floppy Disk.--I need someone to help me hack the knitting machine so it will use instead USB to plug into my computer. I have seen on the internet that this is possible but I do not understand the mechanics at all. It is a minimally paid gig (i'm a student i'm sorry!). I can give you $100 for the initial intake and will pay for all materials necessary to finish the project. another payment of $100 will be when the project is complete. This could be either a really easy project or really complex...for me it's complex and I need help to get the ball rolling. Thanks for all your help!
