QR Code Link to This Post David Gordon is a compulsive liar, so much so that he forgets what he has lied about. This is the dentist that I had put all my faith, trust, and very long and hard-earned retirement dollars into.

1. David P. Gordon said he had 34 years' experience, but yet did not even take or was ever credited with attending a basic introduction seminar for the Straumann implant technology system!
2. That I was in good hands and not to worry.
3. He promised to make high quality dentures that would last 10 years. His dentures broke apart in my mouth for the 9th and final time only 1 week after arriving in Florida after 50 visits, 100 hours! HELLO!!
4. He told me that the dentures breaking apart in my mouth 8 times was my fault as he used only "Band-Aids" to patch them with only to have them break apart again.
5. On my last and 50th visit (the very day before I moved south) he said that the dentures still may need a slight adjustment. Both sets had to be replaced.
6. Gordon said it was mandatory to install 2 more implants into my mouth. That all of a sudden, a year later they were now needed. This was a flat out lie, they were never needed and never will be used.
7. That he wanted to get me back on my feet as soon as possible. I had no teeth to eat with after 2 years with this guy! David Gordon denied and delayed everything as he ran for the hills.
8. That we agreed over the phone that I would take $3500 for the one set of backup dentures to be made by Dr. Vogel at $4200." Dr. Vogel gave me a $300 credit to help me pay for this, again Gordon took advantage of that too. I need to be paid for what I have done" is all Gordon kept saying. This wavier was not for 2 sets of dentures with the abutments and an totally unnecessary, extremely painful and dangerous operation to install two more implants that took over 2 months to heal from. Are you kidding me?
9. David Gordon said that the wavier was just a procedure for the one set of backup dentures.
10. I was given a phony and completely unrealistic estimate. This disaster cost me 3 times what it should have.
11. The time period of this procedure was to be only 12 months. It became to be more than twice the time plus having a 3.5-hour operation and 2 months of healing for nothing. It's been 8 years and nothing has been resolved.
12. Let's not forget that David Gordon flat out lied and tricked me into paying a $1800 bill for something he never did.
13. David P. Gordon couldn't have been bothered, and never did show up in small claims court in Salem when I filed this case 8 years ago.
I did not know and (how could I have) until after the fact that David Gordon continuously lied to me every single time. How could I have ever made an informed and educated decision about my health care when all he did was make things up as he went along to totally confuse, and betray me? Gordon was in way over his head and he knew it. The dentures broke apart in my mouth 8 times. So, I went to the manufacturer of the implants, Straumann USA, to have the 2 sets of dentures professionally made to fit the implants.
