Are you looking for QUALITY child care for your preschool-age child? We are looking for someone to nanny-share with!
A little about the situation: We have a FANTASTIC nanny! She is the real deal --- kind, caring, good at setting limits, active with the kids, and the kids love her. They bake, catch frogs, ride bikes, go on nature walks, read lots of books, go to the playground and library, do tons of neat science and art projects....literally something new and cool every day. But....our 5 year old is heading off to kindergarten in the fall leaving just our 3 1/2 year old son at home without a playmate.
We are looking for someone who would be interested in a nanny share in our home. We live in a nice, safe neighborhood near the Wendell Sheetz/Hephzibah Church with a large, private backyard. We have tons of quality toys, more books than you could count, and the kids get lots of fresh air and healthy food every day. Naps in a private room are available if your child naps (ours does).
We currently are scheduled with the nanny for approximately 8am-4pm M-F, but I'm sure she would be able to be somewhat flexible with hours. We are even open to a child who is only part time. We are on traditional calendar teacher's schedules, so on days when school is out for holidays and we don't have her on the schedule at our house, the nanny could come to your house or could be out and about at activities that day. I'm sure we can work something out as we try to be flexible people. :-)
Cost would be $100-$200 a week depending on your share of the hours. This arrangement would start in mid-August when teachers head back to work! We would love to meet you and your child if you are interested. Please email with your interest and what sort of arrangement you envision.
