Looking for doc research/writer/editor, preferably someone skilled at page layout.
I have a very rough 30 page book that needs to expounded to about 120-150 pages, including graphs, pix, footnotes, quotes, etc.
book will be used as basis for doc. Topic will be intentionally vague at first, due to the ease of pirating, but generally demographic change.
Not sure how to budget this, but Im thinking I send you 1 page per session. This needs to turn into about 3-5 pages, including pix, quotes, stats, etc. base pay is $70 per 4-5 hr session. $100 Bonus for every 5th one. Cash payment
(At least first $600). 72 hr turnaround. Flexible hours, work from home after 1st initial (paid) meeting. Deferred, back end points, but remember the more you want upfront, the less back end $. I recognize that no one wants to devote their valuable time to someone else's dream for free, but the upfront $ shouldn't be your motivation. You should want to be a part of this because you want to make a difference and dream of your writing being recognized, not BECAUSE you need a few hundred a week.
Im a moderately successful video producer who's self financing and likely producing the doc with my pro gear. Def have enough to pay you for the writing, although I hope to raise more $, if the project is on course. If so, more bonus $ for job well done.
Please submit:
(1) brief cover letter about yourself
(2)how you plan to schedule 15-20 week for next 3-6 months and still survive
(EX- p/t job, live with 'rents, unemployment check, etc). If you already have a f/t job and think you can Squeeeze in another paycheck, this isn't for you
(3) any writing credits, contacts, etc.
all responses who fit criteria and follow directions will get a response. Those that try to fit a square peg into a round hole will not.
(4) less than 1 page essay on demographic change in society.
