QR Code Link to This Post I am looking for someone to move in and help my dad in exchange for free room and board. You will have a nice room in a nice quiet neighborhood. The room comes with free cable and WiFI. The room is fully furnished and has a queen bed and big windows.

My dad would need you to lay out his medication. Be there in case he falls. Pick up something if he drops it. Go to the mailbox and help bring in groceries. Cook dinner for you and him/ food provided. Some light house keeping like wash the diner dishes, vacuum etc. MY dad can do most things by himself like his own laundry, heat things in the microwave etc. I come and do his food shopping get his medicine, take him to the doctor and some cleaning etc.He has nurses that come in and help him with bathes and other things.

I am looking for someone who is retired, on disability or works from home. This way you can spend time with him to watch that he doesn't fall.You have to be patient because he is lonely and likes to talk. Prefer a male. Will take a female but I have to warn you.. he is a dirty old man so you would have to have thick skin and not be overly sensitive or be able to put him in his place. This would be perfect for someone with care giver experience or a retiree. He live in the Garners Ferry area which is close to the VA hospital.
