We are sad to have to rehome our 2 year old male ragdoll cat but we cannot keep him any longer. We waited for months to adopt him and he was a wonderful addition to our family. He was fine at first. However, after a few months he began attacking my youngest child. Not all the time but enough to be a concern. Since we wanted to keep him we spent the money and got him declawed. He is an indoor only cat. Unfortunately, when he wants to get her now he goes after her with his teeth and back claws. She is the only one he really does this to and not too often but it's become too much of an issue so we need to find him a new home. I think he would do best in a home with no children (at least small) or pets.
He's absolutely beautiful and supposedly ragdolls are easier on people with allergies (which is why we got him.). He's not a lap cat but loves to sleep on the end of your bed and be in the same room with you. We've never had to re-home an animal so this is very hard but I can't let him hurt my daughter when it's so unprovoked. We really want to find him a good new home. He is up to date on all shots, declawed and has a chip in him. If you know ragdolls, you know they are not inexpensive animals to get as kittens.
