QR Code Link to This Post When browsing MeetUp, I noticed there are a lot of people interested in creative writing groups in the Hampton area, but no one wants to pay the $15/month fee (I know I don't!). So let's leave MeetUp out of it and start a group anyway!

If you're interested, email me (Liz) and let me know what you write, how often you'd like to meet, what sort of meeting you'd want to have (prompts? critique? sit down and write in a group? etc.) and what times work for you.

I write journalism, essays, and fiction, but I'm mostly working on a memoir. I'd like to meet once a week, either as a collective of writers (so we can hold each other accountable) or with critique involved. Preferably, I'd like to do something in the daytime Tues-Friday, but I could do Wednesday or Sunday nights fairly easily.
