We are a community based hospice program that provides services throughout Somerset, Hunterdon and Middlesex Counties.
Become a Volunteer working with our Hospice patients.
***FREE TRAINING IS PROVIDED***
We are looking for volunteers to spend time with patients talking to them, reading to them, and just to be there for the patients.
Trained patient volunteers can provide many services:
~Emotional support listening to the patient and their family and being there when they need to talk.
~Sitting with the patient so the family can run errands and provide companionship when the family is not there.
~We are also looking for people who have a special skill like a Beautician, Massage Therapist, Barber, Pet Therapist, have a musical background, and much more. Volunteers spend time with the patients doing various activities, assisting with recreation activities, and most of all providing companionship.
