I'm a 23 year old woman looking for another female 20-something to join me in an apartment search this coming spring. I've been living solo in Portsmouth for almost a year, and the rent is just too damn high! I've seen listings for so many great 2+ bedroom spaces in Dover that would be much more affordable if I were to split the rent with someone, so I'm posting here in the hopes that I find a fellow house hunter and future roommate.
A little bit about me: I'm originally from New Jersey, but I went to art school in Rhode Island and am now working as a shoe designer in the Seacoast. I'm a lover of Korean food, house plants (I have SO many), and art museums of all kinds. When I'm not at work I'm either tinkering at the Port City Makerspace, taking a short run around the block, or at home trying a new recipe.
As a roommate I'm tidy but not a neat freak, and I'm especially considerate of keeping communal areas clean. I'm not a smoker; my main vices are shoes and too much coffee. I don't have any pets but I'm definitely a dog person. Sadly, I'm allergic to cats. I had a great time living with close friends in college, so I'm hoping to find someone to live with here in New Hampshire who could become a friend as well as a roommate.
