We are looking for One lead vocalist and One drummer to make our band complete. We are one guitar player who plays lead/rhythm and a bass player and over 40. We have about 3 sets ready to go! This is a great opportunity because we have a great booking agent and will be gigging at least once a month in the Summer! Let's make this project work and have some fun gigging in the Summer, and make some money at it, too!!!
We play top 40 Classic Rock WHJY tunes that get the people up and dancing! No heavy metal and not a lot of yelling and screaming. Some examples of the bands we cover are Three Doors Down, Foo Fighters, Tom Petty, Black Crows, Cheap Trick, ZZ Top.
We are looking for serious musicians who have the ability to learn and play songs as close as possible to the way they are performed by the artists. We are not interested in musicians who like to wing-it at band rehearsal and on stage. The ideal candidates would be players who already know how to play most of our songs, have some previous band experience and have the free time to practice and learn songs before they come to band rehearsal.
Any interested singers would need to bring a mic, cord and stand. We have a good pa.
Any interested drummers are in luck, because we have a nice drum set here for you to use.
You will be using a right handed 5 piece Peavey drum kit with two mounted toms and one floor tom, 22" bass, chrome Tama snare, all Ziljian cymbals, 14" hi-hat cymbals, two 18" crash cymbals and one 21" ride cymbal. If you want to sing, you would need to bring a mic, cord and boom stand.
