Picked up this 4.8 lr4 engine a while back in hopes to build it for a swap. Lost interest and don't wanna spend money on the build and swap so I'm listing it up for sale. Although it's the smallest of the ls1 family, it's the strongest. Shares the same block as the 5.3 just with shorter stroke. These 4.8s are great for boost. Engine has 120k miles and turns over. Brought it home, stripped it down to block and heads, cleaned it up and painted it. Valve covers are wrinkle finish black. I have msd wires for it, and corvette fuel rail covers. I also have the Ecu and all stock belt drive and intake accessories. I don't need to sell but wouldn't be upset if i did.
