Making a Difference Series Set for October 29 (Hopewell Borough)

"Making a Difference" Series Set for October 29

Sarah Unger, director of communications and development for the Crisis Ministry of Mercer County, will be the featured speaker at a Hopewell community discussion on Thursday, October 29 at 7 p.m. at the Hopewell United Methodist Church, 20 Blackwell Ave., Hopewell.

The event series focuses on making a difference in the lives of others and this talk will emphasize helping people in our area who are struggling with housing and food issues.

The Crisis Ministry of Mercer County provides services that stabilize about 5,000 low-income families and individuals each year, through helping to secure the basic needs of food and shelter and promote longer-term stability through hunger prevention and nutrition education, housing stability and homelessness prevention services, workforce development, and driver's license restoration.

Light refreshments. All are welcome!

Come out and learn about this important work, right here in our communities.

The Hopewell United Methodist Church will present different "Making A Difference" topics on a monthly basis. For more information, visit www.hopewellmethodist.org.
