I have 2 metal projects I'm working on and am interested in collaborating with a lead guitarist to play some shredding solo's to one or both of these projects. No this is not a paying gig bu if you like metal and want to solo over some good material I'd love for you to contribute.

Currently I'm working with two solid vocalists to get these songs completed but the instrumental portions are already in place. I'd like to take these projects to the next level by incorporating some additional talent if anyone wants to be involved in the creative process. Also not opposed to collaborating on other stuff down the road.

To be clear this is an online collaboration only. I live in Boston so unless you live local to me you will need to be able to track your guitar on your computer and send me these files through email

Once you send me wav(s) of the leads I can then edited, EQ, mix, and mastered them. I would just need any WAVS emailed to me.
If this ad up I still want to collaborate with others so send me some of your best stuff up front as to not waste each others time.

I am a decently capable guitarist and you may hear some solo's already in place in some of the songs. I'm not opposed to having some rewrite these solo's or trade of with me which could be pretty cool. Others songs don't have solo's but need them. I can help you determine where those spots are. Also I maybe need to move some things in places to create spots for solo's.

This is not a project for someone that can't play. If you can't play it will be pretty obvious to both of us. Not trying to hurt anyone' feelings, but there's a million guitarists out there and very few that can actually throw down hard in terms of metal solo's.

Here's a list of guitarists I would describe as influences for this project:
Dimebag, Zakk Wylde, Yngwie, Dave Gilmour, Buckethead, Adam D., EVH, Jimi, SVR, Mark Morton, etc.

I love heavy vibrato, fast pentatonic stuff, harmonies, exotic scales, divebombs, wah, whammy, delay. . .stuff like that.

The first project can be described as metal with elements of hardcore, thrash, and groove oriented metal. This project draws influences from Lamb of God, Unearth, Machinehead, Pantera, Slayer, Yngwie Malmsteen.

The second project can be described as melodic death metal/metalcore/rock. This project draws influences from bands like Killswitch, Times of Grace, A Perfect Circle, Cipher System, August Burns Red, Machinehead, Pantera.
