I have a 1996 EK Civic DX that wont start. Car was running about a week ago when I drove it last. Car attempts to start and sometimes starts and sputters out within a few seconds. Engine turns over and battery seems strong. Havent had time to check anything else. Car is all stock, 1.6L non vtec motor. 150ish K miles. Seems like a spark/ignitition or fueling issue. Thinking maybe a fuel pump as starts were intermittently slow but I dont know how to check/diagnose. Dont want to pay to tow car to a shop.
