We are looking for someone to cover the Lakes Region and Plymouth and surrounding towns.
We are looking for drivers who can report on the condition of homes and take photos of the property.
An independent field inspector acts as the eyes and ears of the company requesting the inspection. A field inspection is a visual inspection of a residential property.
The duties of a Property Inspector would be to drive to predetermined properties and take photos of homes and drop off notes for the Banks that service the Mortgages on those homes. On average you would take 6-12 photos per home and knock on the door (not all jobs) to determine if the property is still occupied. We are contracted to determine if the house is vacant or if the Mortgagor or Tenant still reside at the property as well as report Utilities and Damage.
All property inspection results are uploaded into an 3rd party website.
Each inspection for a mortgage company takes about 30sec-10 minutes to report on its occupancy and condition. Most of your time is spent driving from address to address, so you must enjoy driving.
You will also be required to conduct inspections on vacant homes. we will make sure you have keys for these houses and lockbox codes.
In addition, you will also be conducting inspections for Insurance Underwriting purposes.
These will include taking photos of homes and reporting any hazards for insurance companies.

Far too many times, people that don't even live around these towns, will want to apply and we have to tell them "NO" You MUST live in the area. ALSO, just a reminder, this is a 1099 position. In case you don't know what that is, it means you are responsible for your own taxes and expenses. We pay you per job. The more you do- the more you make.

Ability to get paid once a month (Have money to get by until first paycheck)
Driver License and Proof of Insurance

A Good Flashlight!!
Windows based Laptop or Desktop Computer and Printer/Scanner with High Speed Internet is a must ****
GPS and/or Mapping Software
Must be able to pass Background Check and Motor Vehicle Record*****
