People into Retro and Modern video games (United States)
Hi,
Is there anybody out there interested in hanging out and playing some good old fashioned couch co-op games (Contra, Life Force, Double Dragon, MAME games, etc...)? Are you a collector of arcade/console games looking for someone to share you hobby and talk games with? Does going to the NAVA gaming convention at Digital Press in Clifton or the Barcade in Jersey City sound like something you might want to do? Do you watch the collector and gaming blogs on youtube? If any or all of these things sound cool to you, you are over 21 (so we can actually go to the Barcade), and are basically a regular person looking for people to hang out with every once in awhile, let me know!
I am a married 35yo male with a full time job just looking to meet and hang out with like minded people. Its damn hard to meet other people who have similar interests, especially when one works all the time.
My favorite gaming franchise is Resident evil (I have a little collection going), but I do play basically all kinds of games except sports games. I also enjoy going to Heavy Metal concerts, drinking craft beer, playing Magic the Gathering, and D&D (every once in awhile).
I figure I would post and give it a try and see where it goes. Shoot me a message if any of this sounds interesting.
