Hello Everyone,
Our band is based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Our music has been described is a blend of late 60's psych, post punk and 90's alt rock. We dig angular sounds, songs with great structure, catchy melodies, cool effects, alternate tunings and playing with textures.
We recently finished recording an album and plan on releasing it soon. The plan is to get everyone up to speed, release the album and immediately begin working on new material.
We're open to play with synth/keyboard players as long as they understand that they'll be responsible for covering the bassists roll in the band. Pure texture would be welcome too.
This is not a paid gig. We are looking for collaborators that are truly interested in the music we play. Our band is run so that everyone has creative input and control over what they play. That being said we are looking to work with serious, ambitious musicians that are willing to work.
We have played a ton here in the city and have self recorded two albums. We are currently demoing some new material while we finish mastering our record. If you are interested in the project, please send links to some previous recordings and tell us little about yourself.
