Raleigh amp All Surrounding Areas (Raleigh amp All Surrounding Areas)

Smaller flooring and remodeling company looking for on-call labor. This is not a full time job and you will be paid as a sub contractor on a per-job basis.

If you are unemployed and needing some cash or have a job but want to make extra cash on your days off, all is good for us. Seriously, if you only have Tuesday's off and every other Thursday or something weird like that, we will build our schedule around you're availability if you're good at what you do. We keep 2-3 people in this rotation based upon availability. The better you are at what you do and the easier you are to work with, the more likely we are to give you first dibs. We just lost our best labor guy and he was getting at least 1-2 jobs per week, making anywhere from $250-500. The better you are, the faster we can move and more jobs per week will become available. Some projects are small in-home jobs, some are very large commercial jobs. We are flexible and easy to deal with. Payment will be agreed upon before work begins. We pay hourly and in some cases, by the job (whichever is greater). Pay is weekly, usually Friday, sometimes Thursday.

Primary consideration will be given to those with a reliable pickup truck or larger vehicle capable of hauling trash. We DO NOT provide vehicles for subs, but don't be discouraged from responding. As long as you can get to and from a job site, we can still use your help (either trailers or by sending a company truck to collect debris is doable).

NO INSTALLATION TOOLS will be provided, unless a successful relationship is established. If we trust in your job cleanliness and craftsmanship, this could change as it has before.

DEMO tools will always be provided. If you have your own crowbars, brooms, hammers, etc., please use them. Again, if we don't have to bring and collect tools, we work faster, you work faster not having to wait for us or needing us to be there at all, more projects get started and we all make more money, you included.

Work includes:
1. Demolition of drywall, framing, tile, hardwood, carpet, subflooring, etc. Really any interior building material is possible, these are just the most common.
2. Removal of debris from site to county dumpsters (or on-site dumpsters for bigger jobs).
3. "Prepping" demo'd areas for next trade to come in. Essentially, cleaning up after debris has been removed, sweeping dust from floors and providing a pristine environment for each successive specialty contractor.
4. Light framework if capable, possibly light plumbing work.
5. Removal of large furniture or appliances is possible. Depending on the scope of the job and request of some clients, these things are sometimes performed by hired professionals.
6. Retrieval and delivery of materials. **this can range from hand-held items to bundles of hardwood to pallets of tile.**

Can't stress this enough: you don't have to be able to haul trash or deliver material, but it definitely helps if you can. Please send a resume if you have one for this type of work. If this is just side work for you, respond with details included in this post explaining why you'd be a good fit. This is very informal and would be best for someone that is hard working, honest and pleasant to work and communicate with.

Thanks in advance.
