I really dislike when people make a stupid decision to get a puppy or kitten they are not ready for and then demand rehoming fee to save some of their investment. You messed up and couldn't provide a forever home for an animal, now admit your mistake and take the loss. However rehoming fees are important to avoid letting animals go to bad homes. I propose that all rehoming fees be donated to shelters who really need that.
