I am finished with the first draft of a project and have passed the half way point on another novel. Both are very different. The first is an autobiography whereas the other is a horror novel. I am searching for an editor that I am comfortable with, is punctual with the revisions, and doesn't just edit for grammar and spelling but also content. I have had several editors in the past that simply do grammar and spelling but not as much on content and don't build a working relationship. I generally pay $1/page per revision cycle.
