This is Casper, a friendly, affectionate short-haired male, three to four years old. He is available for adoption from a local rescue organization. See his video here:

As you can see, he's mostly black with a few white spots here and there.
Casper was abandoned when his owners moved out of their apartment. They left him inside enough for food and water for a couple of days. Were it not for a neighbor hearing his desperate cries, then he might not have survived. He's not lucky to have been so heartlessly abandoned, but very lucky to have been found before starvation set in. Not all cats under these circumstances are so lucky.
We brought Casper to our vet to be fixed, vaccinated, and combo-tested, and found out that he's FeLV negative, but FIV+. This should have little, if any, affect on his life-span, nor the quality of his life. He requires no special medical care for this. What he does require and deserve are love and attention from someone who will commit to him for the rest of his life, who will make sure that he is never abandoned again. His adopter(s) will receive his medical records.
As you can see in his video, he's a loving, affectionate boy, which makes the cruelty of his abandonment even more incongruous. He's also good with children and dogs if introduced correctly.
As with all rescue groups, there is a simple adoption process and an adoption donation so we can continue to help other cats in need, and, in Casper's case, that donation has been reduced.
Cats typically live from 12 to 20 years. If you can and will commit to Casper for that long and provide him a safe, loving home for the rest of his life, then respond to this ad via email.
