seeking experienced lawn care crew members (east side indy)
To the fast moving/ EXPERIENCED individuals interested in applying for the 2015 lawn care crew:
Responsibilities would include: Operating 36-48 inch walk behind Scag mower, using string trimmer to accurately trim areas mower can't reach, using blower, and to a lesser extent, doing light landscaping such as spring cleanup of sticks, leaves, ect, laying mulch down, planting or removing plants, etc.
Must be able to safely operate all equipment in a professional, accurate, and timely manner and have good vision such to insure that all jobs are done fully and without damage to self, others, property, or equipment.
Crew leader/s will be required to do all the above as well as drive the truck with trailer in a responsible and safe way ( so must have experience driving a truck w/trailer), supervise crew and their work, assure that jobs are done in a timely manner, give frequent reports to base, watch over equipment, and be an example to those working with you. I expect this person to be at an even higher level as far as speed, accuracy and safety are concerned.
Hours will be monday-fri ( with some saturdays) p/t workers 15-30 hours/wk and FULL time workers 40-60 hrs per week from the hours of 8a-6 spring-fall and often work later than 6 until we are full staffed or when we are behind from rain etc.
Amount of hours given is based on skill level, availability, attitude, and personality.
I'm looking for Experienced, clean-cut, friendly, team player, hard working individuals who take pride in their work and know how to operate Scag walk behinds ( with velky) and use a string trimmer quickly and accurately positions go from ( $10-15/hr based on experience, productivity, and being on time).
Not looking for those with any kind of substance abuse or alcoholism. In any case you will be expected to be on time every day and maintain a great attitude in order to receive raises.
