Hello! I am available for one-to-one tutoring for students in all subjects for Kindergarten through 8th grade. We can meet at my library or yours (within reasonable distance).
Qualifications:
*Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education
*Type 3 IL Professional Educator License - certified to teach self-contained classrooms in Kindergarten-8th grade
*Middle School Endorsements in Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies
*2014-2015 school year was my 10th year working in the education field - teacher, teacher assistant, one-to-one special education aide, and one-to-one tutor (reading and math)
*Experienced with children across all grade levels and levels of ability, including (but not limited to) children with disabilities such as learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, and Autism
My Responsibilities to You and Your Child:
*Help your child master skills and concepts in specific subject areas
*Coach your child on study skills, note-taking, and organization
*Be a source of encouragement and support
*Exhibit professionalism at all times
*Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions
$25 per hour (below the going rate for private tutors and tutoring centers! - I have children of my own and understand the need to find quality services for tight)
