VFW Post 483 is looking for new members. If you served in an overseas conflict you maybe eligible to join the Veterans of Foreign Wars. No other organization does more for veterans than the VFW. If you are currently receiving VA benefits or education benefits under a GI Bill, it was the VFW that pushed Congress to enact them. The VFW continues to fight for veteran benefits on a daily basis. Join the organization that supports you. Make our numbers stronger so our impact on Congress is even greater. Just reply to this posting and you will be emailed an application form and information. Attach a copy of your DD 214, as we are required to maintain a copy. The annual dues are $35. If you are on Active Duty your first year and any additional year that you are on Active Duty is FREE.
